On Ebay, I won 5 lots from a seller that was NARU'd before I paid . . . . . .

Now, if the seller is reinstated, am I obligated to complete the transacitons? Any help here would be appreciated. Thanks!

P.S. -- I tried to find the answers on ebay, but their help search function sucks.

If the member was in good standing when the auction ended and is now has account reinstated I think you should complete the transaction.

Have you tried to contact the seller? If you were invoiced...you should have his/her email address.

I believe the answer is no.
If the seller is NARU'ed, you have no "ebay protection", for whatever that is worth.

There is no telling how long until, if ever, they become reinstated. How long should you wait? Totally up to you. It is ok to also not wait at all....why should you? Not your fault someone went NARU, right?

There is nothing wrong with contacting them and completing the deal but do be aware that it is entirely at your own risk.

click onto your Ebay " live help"...they will let you know what's up. By all means, ONLY pay by paypal tho just in case of a shyster thingy

Why was he NARU'd? The only way I would complete the deal is if he shipped first; then took payment.

When the listing ended the seller was in good standing so if you pay by PayPal he would be covered through Buyer Protection if it was stated on the auctions. eBay sometimes suspends sellers for reasons that have nothing to with buyers, that is between the seller and eBay. I would try contacting the seller as well.

Not A Registered User. The term that appears next to an eBay username when the acoount has been suspended, indefinetly or not.
