Question: Safest Way to Ship USPS?

I'm planning to ship $900 of rolled coins today using USPS Priority Mail with $900 insurance and delivery confirmation.
Is this Ok...or is there a better way...such as registered mail? I just want to minimize the possibility of anyone playing games.

If a lot of rolls, you can ship Flat Rate Prior Mail AND Registered. If it's under a pound, first class Registered is cheaper than Prio Registered.
Edited to add - go to USPS.com and click on their shipping calculator. Plug in the numbers (weight, insurance value) and it will price all the options.)
Buyer can claim he did not recieve it, paypal then pays him off and he keeps your coins and there is nothing you can do about it.
So, Registered or Priority ect, all have there benefits but , signature confirmation is a must.

When insuring packages for full value when the value is, I think, around $600 it becomes cheaper to use Registered. Since it is the safest insurance costs less for high value items....
I am curious the size and weight
may want to go in a flat rate priority box -> then registered

Good idea. Wish I thought of that
Priority Mail: $10.00
Express Mail: $3.45
Registered Mail: $12.35
There is really no reason to send it registered unless you think the post office is going to steal it. If you are worried about the person you are mailing it to, the green mail-back card should be all you will need in addition to the insurance. Also, when you get insurance, the package requires a signature anyway.
