Classic Commens PCSG Holder Question

Hi,
I noticed a couple of my PCGS Classic Commens don;t have the date/mm on the holder while others do...For example, my Bay Bridge has 'Bay Bridge' in the upper left, the Grade lower and centered, but nothing underneath while the Roanoke (another 1 year/mm issue) has the date in the upper left, the grade lowered and centered, and the description 'Roanoke' underneath the grade.
I am guessing this is due to different holder designs over the years but any way I can learn which ones are the older ones?
Also...(combining 2 questions here!) how would I identify an NCGS Fatty holder? Are they considerably thicker than the slabs now?
Thanks!
K

We lost a lot of knowledge when you left here.
I'll stop there.
