Resubmitted 4 fatty's and one older NGC holder and the results are in.....

The results were not bad.....

1918 Lincoln Comm 64 65
1936 York Comm 65 66
1924 Hugguenot 64 65
1962 Frankie Proof 68 68
1893 S Double Eagle 62 62
I was a little surprised the Frankie didn' go FBL.
I really thought the York had a chance at a 67 or even a (gasp) 68, it is a prisitine coin.
The Double Eagle was not in a fattie, just an older slab, and I resubmitted more on a wing and a prayer as the value jumps very nicely from 62 to 63.
Oh well, a 60% hit rate, I will take it. All coins were purchased at the time for below GS on the orginal grade so I come out nicely ahead.

I guess that's what you get when you really don't know a series!
I bot that coin along with a lot of others and paid less than GS, so no harm no foul. Also, the submission didn't cost me anything. but, I now feel like a schmuck.

They might end up as rare as the NGC black slabs which have gone for $3500 premiums over similar coins in other slabs. Fatties have a nice clean look to them.

Did you resubmit in the holders or did you crackout and resubmit?
I assume they were re-submitted to NGC? edited. Strike that. You replied while I was typing.
