Bowers and Merena auctioning the only PCGS MS66 32D Washington

I was just reading the article on the home page. I didn't think there were any 32D's in 66 holders. So how do you put a price on that coin? Any speculation on what it will bring? Considering the rarity of the coin, it should bring a considerable amount of money. Has anyone here on the forum seen this coin in person?

Looking for PCGS AU58 Washington's, 32-63.

In 2001, Heritage sold it for $81K, but that's all I know about it...

    Looks like a gorgeous coin.
  • Back in 1970, I purchased the finest one of four, from an original partial roll of 1932 D quarters.

It was sold to me by Don Harris of Great Falls, MT (His & Hers Coins). Harris was partners at the time with John Love in Cut Bank, MT.

When I sold my complete set of Unc Washington's it went away, but it was sure a beautiful example.

This information is offered to confirm that there are nice ones out there.

PM me if you are looking for U.S. auction catalogs

If any auction house can do it it will be B&M, as I 99% sure that there are some image bidding in their auctions? image
