As I was saying, the crowd is very different. My wife said that she'd have no problem if I went to Vegas with my coin buddies, but never with the shoe crowd.
Respectfully, the Thread doesn't smell. It is simply an honorable venture to walk in anothers' shoes and see if the shoe fits for selling coins in this venue. Consider the enjoyment he will have discussing wear, condition, the sole of coin collecting, how to toe the line when spending on coins, the size of a collection, the color people like, and how to stay away from the heels in the coin business, as well as whether or not a coin is a shoe-in for a certain grade. Sounds like a good way to dip the toes in the water and test the temperature for a new place to sell coins. I don't think there will be many arch-enimies of coins at a shoe convention. I can understand planting my feet there. With Courtesy, John Curlis

I'm guessing, Rick, that your business is a "sole proprietorship". Fortunately, one of your "arch-rivals" wasn't set up right across from you. Sorry this wasn't longer, but Charley beat me to most of the punchlines.

foodude, if there is, he better start stocking up now and pull up his socks and get busy. If he doesn't a competitor will be there when people at the convention slap down their leather to buy. I also don't think that people at this show will be interested in counterfeet coins or corny sales methods. Respectfully, John Curlis
