Is this THING worth any more than the price of silver?
(About 39.2 mm. Note the die crack on the reverse: one running from 3 o'clock to the along the wreath to near 1 o'clock. Another from the left top of the wreath parallel to the shield.)
Is there a story behind this THING?

I have bought quite a few similar .999 silver rounds on ebay because I liked the design. There is an endless varitey and a seemingly endless supply of silver rounds with imitated classic designs(some nicer than others).
No need to chase them as they pop up frequently. Usually I try to bid spot minus shipping cost. I win some now and then.
As silver has had a nice run these past few years more will come crawling out of the woodwork so be patient and bid at a price you would be happy to own them at.
