What would be a fair price for an 1807 CBH (Large stars 50/20 rev.)Pcgs graded VF-30?

  Numismedia Wholesale value is $756, a PCGS VF30 just sold 2/16 on Heritage for $632.

  $750 for a PCGS 30 does sound about right. You might consider a PCGS 40 for $1000 to $1200. I am not a fan of the mid and upper grade VFs.

  I collect Capped Bust series by variety in PCGS AU/MS grades.

  Good luck finding a 30 with any kind of nice originality for 750.00. These are tough although just a "common" variety. Price shopping will get you a nice white one and/or a cleaned and re-toned one.
