My Cardinals Collection --- Topps inserts/test issues/misc added

I have always wanted to scan my entire collection. A couple of weeks ago, I actually insured my collection through my home owners insurance. I added some to my contents coverage. Since I have done that, I wanted some proof of what I have, so I started scanning my Cardinals collection and uploading the pictures to photobucket. It will be a while before I get them all done. Last night, I started scanning and I got the 1950's and 1960's done. Since I was doing the scanning, I thought that I might as well share them with you guys. You may not give a rats behind, but I thought I would share anyway. It really wasn't all that involved because I didn't take them out of the pocket pages. It would have taken forever if I would have taken the cards out. Since I left them in, they are not the best quality of scans. I also scanned them were they would be kind of small so that it would limit download time. I will add more scans as I get them done.

It should get a whole lot more interesting when I get to some of the rare stuff. You can see that I am more concerned more about completion than I am about condition (at least for older stuff). Here are the 1950's Topps. By the way, the last 4 cards in the 1952 set are the high numbers. I think they are in pretty good shape considering how rare they are.

Hmmm. That's very interesting. I will have to look closer. I have never noticed that before.

Thanks for the compliments, guys. It has been a long, but enjoyable journey that is still not through (as far as the inserts go). Every set is complete, and that includes all all stars, league leaders, subsets, multiples, and misc cards in the base sets.

Yes, those are complete. I have complete Cardinals team sets of Topps (1951 to 2007), Bowman (1948 to 2007), Fleer (1963 to 2007), Donruss (1981 to 2006, or whenever it was they stopped), Upper Deck (1989 to 2007), Score (1988 to 1998), Red Man (1952 to 1955), Post (1961 to 1963), Jello (1963), Topps Heritage (2001 to 20007), Bowman Heritage (2001 to 2007), Kellogg's (1970 to 1983), plus many misc. I am now working on vintage and modern Topps inserts, test, and misc. All these scans are coming - eventually.

    '69s nice!

that brock is the toughest card in entire set.

those cardinals cards in high demand by vintage collectors,
so if you ever lose the faith
they usually resell at premiums in the market.

I don't plan on that ever happening. I plan on the staying in the family. It's been a 6 year project and still going.

I realize that the 1980's started the era of mass production and that these team sets are not worth very much, but they are part of my team set collection. Included in these sets are the Traded sets and the cards from the box bottoms. They are at the end of the team sets.

So, without further delay, here are the 1980's.

Here are the 1990's Topps. A little note on the 1999 McGwire HR cards. I chose to put #67 and #68 in it because my wife and I were at the game when he hit those.
