My favorite soda growing up was Canada Dry Ginger Ale. I drank it so much, my friends used to call me CD for short. So when I went to open my candy and nut store, I called it CD's Nuts. We had cashews, peanuts, pecans, walnuts, pistachios, any kind of nut you could think of.
KRAHTE = K RAH TE' = Karate I got stuck with the nickname K RAH TE' about 10 years ago when an old story of when I was in a fight in a school yard (the fight was in about 1982 or 1983) one of my friends (that I knew back then and still know to this day) said that I used the Krane/Crane technique (Ralph Machio) in the fight that I was in - and from that day forward they started calling me Karate Kid , Kung Fu Fighting , Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon, and a million other martial arts related nicknames. then K RAH TE' stuck. And I dont think I can use a single quote in my user name.
So do I, once I was shooting skeet and part of the clay fell on a waterhose that was near the pit. I was going make my screen name "Skeet on hos" but I went with Allen instead.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
We have 4 kids under the age of 12 and they do some of the craziest things. We watch them do some things are there are no reasonable explanations. Hence the name no answers only questions.
"I feel sorry for people who don't drink. When they wake up in the morning, that's as good as they're going to feel all day. " ~Frank Sinatra
After bowling with friends for awhile they could tell that I would tense up in pressure situations and they told me just to relax. I decided this could be good therapy by typing it on this board.
Steve Rocchi gave me this name.....well, not gave..... but he would say "here comes the eagleeyekid to pick up his order" when they were picking up and returning orders at shows.
my ebay handle...and my favorite star wars character EVAH! yeah, im a stars wars geek, and i WILL fight you in the parking lot for that next case of figures thats being offloaded at 7am in the morning lol. and i was born in 1972

I shoot sporting clays, skeet is considered pretty easy. The hardest shooting disciple is sporting. I just got the call today that I made team USA for 2008, so I can hold my own.... We have a Team USA qualifier in Orlando this weekend. At least they know how to pick 'em, er where to put 'em. My fav trip was always Miami because we'd play poker all night at the Miccosukee and the shooting club was literally across the street! No rental car needed. But alas, they closed the shooting range three years ago
As well as baseball, I'm a racing fan. I was a Michael Schumacher fan since his days in Group C, and since the 'internet explosion' didn't occurr until his days driving a Ferrari, I chose F1 and Ferrari.
Hobart=nickname given to me while serving in the Army (not sure why other than the the 1st SGT proclaimed it so) 42=number in high school 81= year I graduated HS

Nothing fancy here....first name is Arnold and last name starts with a V.
The nickname was given to me around the Stevie B and Stacey Q days of the mid to late 80s. Although, I will never admit that I have heard or enjoy listening to the "Postman's Song"....

I'd like to give it a whirl, I had a buddy in college named Paul Uribe who did a bit of sport. Had a couple of gorgeous trophy Benelli and Rizzini shotguns too, amazing file work on both. For now, I shoot gen 3 Glock 9-19s, Sig Sauers, M-4s, M-16...nothing overly sporty about them, although there is a championship 9mm division, basically law enforcement.
I have been dealing in meteorites the last five years, although starting to move away from them it appears. They have allowed me to tour the world and have purchased my house so no complaints.
Collecting PSA graded Steve Young, Marcus Allen, Bret Saberhagen and 1980s Topps Cards. Raw: Tony Gonzalez (low #'d cards, and especially 1/1's) and Steve Young.
My name is Shane Hardie (with an "ie" at the end). I have a younger brother named Phil. We were a pretty good tandem on the basketball court. People called us "The Hardie Boys". Growing up, I used to read "The Hardy Boys" books. The oldest Hardy Boy was named Frank Hardy. I just sort of put those two things together and came up with "frankhardy".
My ebay name and my website, my very, very neglected website. All came about from my favorite player (love or hate him) Pete Rose. The icon is courtesy of another board member who let me use a scan of his 67 Topps Stand Up. Even though those are out of my reach, those have become my absolute favorite card design.
kev
keeping my ears open for oddball cards of Rose from the 60's and 70's.
Mine is an alter ego that a fellow band member created for me. The band was around for about 3 years, made a cd, and now we're done. Too old I guess. People still listen to, and ask for, our cd though. Now I just sit in our studio and record mostly.

Haven't touched the green stuff in 22 years, but boy did college drag on !!!!!!!
