Help Please on eBay Situation
I bought a coin for $59 BIN the other day. The auction is this one. Afgter searching the seller past auctions, he sold the exact same coin three days earlier in this auction.
I sent one email questioning the auctions, he replied back saying they were different and he could tell by looking at the toning. I then replied back with numerous notes on why they were the same coin. Anyway, I never heard back. So, I sent another email through eBay's system and he finally replied today with the following message. He did not use paragraphs, so it may be hard to read a little. My question is am I correct in being a little paranoid about going through with this transaction? He email seems like a bunch of bunk to me. Any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks, Richard.
Those pictures are of the same coin. I have no idea what this auction is though. The winning bidder supposedly won two coins from me. Neither of the auction numbers are valid and don't appear in MY EBAY searches. I have not been charged to post them nor do they appear as items sold in MY EBAY. It does appear if I enter the auction number and look at items seller sold. When I am in the auction it does not recognize me as the seller. I am not sure what this all means but the 2 auctions cemmille won are not valid and I won't honor them. When someone buys somethig from me I get an email. I get an email when they checkout too. I got neither. Neihter auction appears in my account fees log or in my ITEMS SOLD. I am wondering if it is a creation of a spammer trying to get cemmille's passwords. Spammers have sent me an email saying I bought something from and ebayer and charged to my paypal account . They're looking for me to enter my password. that's all I can think of.
The whole thing is a little weird but your the only person to have bought this specimen. I'll contact the supposed winner and alert them to the invalidity of the auctions and recommend they change their passwords. I'm going to do the same.
Take care.......Paul
