1863 copper coin about the size of a Dime / penny...

On the obverse it had 13 stars & what looked to be Washington? On the reverse it said NO COM.... Could'nt make it out COMERSE Maybe?

Sounds like a Civil War Token.

This coin looks like the 1863 Washington Two cent piece.

Its a Civil War Token, the reverse is possibly "No compromise for traitors" If it's that worn it's only a $5 item.

Yes it is. The "8" & "6" seem to be doubled? I'm going on memory, However that is the coin.

Like EagleEye said, if it's that wore down you can't read the back, it's likely a $5.00 item. The one pictured I Think sold on eBay for $15.

Although there are a few slight variations of the dies, if you want to label your 2x2, I'm pretty sure the dies (at least the ones in the picture) are:

Washington: Store Card:1133, Patriotic Die: 106 (R4)
No Compromise: Store Card: 1275, Patriotic Die: 432 (R1)
