Lil Help for I.D. on a Bat

Yesterday my son and I went to a tag sale around the neigborhood and saw this autographed baseball bat , they only wanted 25 bucks for it so we picked it up , I have no clue who signed it , but it looks like a brand new bat .
Can anyone I/D the sig ?
No cert came with it and the lady said her husband who just passed away had just bought it about a month ago ,
F.W.I.W. she said he's got a ton and a half of old baseball cards in the den , she said I can come over and buy whatever I want , so I'll be going back there in a little while , see what's what . .

I went to the ladys house yesterday and waited and waited and waited until she came home from where ever she was ,
Most of the cards there were late 70's - 2006 and 7 all in really great shape , not a ton and a half but maybe about 15,000 give or take ,
She had two really great cards , A Goudey Ruth and a Goudey Gehrig , the Goudey Ruth she said she did not want to get rid of , the Goudey Gehrig she sold me with everything else for 500 bucks !
I am not too good at the vintage stuff to be able to tell if they are real or reprints , but I figured even if it wasn't real I didn't really lose much with the other cards I got . . .
I have been trying to get a real quality scan of the card and this is about the best I can do , after about 20 tries , it always comes out like dots , the front of the card looks like it has some serious damage to it , but the back don't look so bad , what can I look for to tell if it is a reprint or fake ,
It looks good to me , but some of you guys forgot more than I will ever know . . .
Here are the pics . .
I don't know if the dimensions stayed the same as far as the 07's but the cards are almost exactly the same size , with this one being a hair smaller .
