Love how it goes in 100% untoned and blast white and after years of the holder (at least 2 that I have owned it and it came to me with the toning already started), we get the picture below....


I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

Not sure what you're getting at. I've seen several early green label PCI holders where the label says "100% WHITE" and the coin has reacted to the white insert and the periphery of the coin has toned similar to the coin in this post.

You're talking about the color in the photo....sorry...no color change....it is lighting that is what makes it look different than the white insert you are thinking of....I don't play with the coloring. You are right though, in that, the insert is white.
If you want, you can copy the pic and play with the color....I spent less than a minute on the image (from talking the shot to uploading it) and just thought it was cool to show what something going in 100% "white" now looks like.
Rainbow toning is pretty accurate though
