more schemes from the beloved US mint

Will it worth it??

Yes, it will be worth it....a unique packaging sets it apart from its predecessors. I will definately add this to my collection. I'm just surprised,

unless I'm misreading this, that it's not a proof coin. $1018 is an interesting price. Will the mint reduce the price when gold goes back down

as it's trending? Remember, they stopped selling the 2007 version when gold went up...

Like I said though, I will add it because I started with the series in 2006 and think this set will always be a winner! image

It seems the coin will be a standard coin, just the packaging will be different. Is that true?

Will PCGS note the lunar pedigree on the insert?

I'm not sure how big Moy's chop mark is going to be but it seems like it's on the certificate only. Might be interesting to cut that out and include it with the insert in the slab.

"" It seems the coin will be a standard coin, just the packaging will be different. Is that true? ""

The paper insert indicates a "W" Mintmark.

It does not indicate a "W" mint mark. It says it will be minted at West Point.

This is the regular bullion coin that sells for a little above melt. There is no product limit.

    I wouldn't waste my time.

hmmm.... it seems clarification is needed. Just because cert indicates it was minted at West Point, does not mean it will bear the "W" mintmark.

More packaging madness, I doubt that there will be anything special about the coin itself. Why wasn't last year the "Lucky 7" edition - damn they missed their chance to fleece a few more (fill in the blanks)!
