Should I take my Gold off ebay?

Should I take my 2007 .99999 1oz gold maple off ebay and hold to see if gold goes higher? basiclly I just want to sell it and by classic gold coins with the money?

I'm just wondering what others think.

Thanks,
John

It all depends on what you originally paid for the gold .
Selling for a profit is always nice.

As gold goes up it should sell for a fair price. Just be ready to buy your classic gold as soon as you get the money.

Looks like I am timing my 5 Liberty head double eagles at the right time.
They are at Heritage for the Feb Signature sale and Pre Bidding for all five are at the 800-900 figure already
17 days to go BEFORE THE AUCTION ... Yikes agressive bidders image

I bought these 4-5 years ago so ... heheh ... I will do fine

you should be able to walk that into a local shop and do just as well as ebay because no fees.

You could have tried to trade them on the BST. It seems some like bullion better than the Classics...............

Since both coins are gold and more or less, they will move up or down together... I say sell the gold, buy what you want.

I think no one can aswer this for you. Do what you think is best. Nice profits now but I think more later. If it crashes then we'll both be cussing. You want something you can count on? Vote Republican. image

Gold is going to $1000 in the next few weeks easily - especially if the fed cuts rates more in the next couple of days. I would wait for that before selling.

One there now selling for too much cash 1050.........Can get one from dealer 50 above spot. Or you can keep it and get the next 5-9"s design for 08. These have some numismatic premium, only 30,000 made.

I personally like to sell my gold and platinum and buy more gold and platinum. Strange but true. image
