Is Zryus Press re-releasing some classic QDB books, like "US Gold Coins-An Illustrated History&

I was taking a look at the Zyrus Press website, trying to find out the publication date of Mark Goodman's upcoming book on Numismatic Photography. In the Upcoming Books section, Zyrus lists two classic QDB books as coming out in April, 2008-- "US Gold Coins- An Illustrated History", and "American Coin Treasures and Hoards".

Does anyone know why these books are being reissued? I tend to always see them in the aftermarket, particulary the US Gold Coins book. I did not do a search on Ebay, but I believe they come up quite frequently. A link is below. What is the rationale for re-releasing these books?

The "US Gold..." book is readily available, but the "American Coin Treasures..." book is much more challenging to find. I am surprised about the former, but not the latter.
  • Have no idea why they are being re-published by this publisher. I happened upon this information when doing a book search on Amazon a few months ago. I went to the publisher's website and emailed them a question about which edition of the History of United States Coinage was being printed, or if it was a new edition.... never did receive an answer one way or the other and put it out of my mind until your post.
