  Personally, my favorite is the 82 Topps Baseball design.
  
  And I'll always have a soft spot for the 87 Topps Baseball design too.

  I'd rate '84 Donruss as the best of the 80's, but then again, '84 was a banner year in which all 3 companies put out exceptional designs.

  1983 topps baseball, 1984' 85' Donruss, 1987 Fleer, 1989 Upper deck. (all baseball)
