Hi, I am new to this site. I have been metal detecting for more than (12) years. I have found more than $3,700 in coins and too many pieces of jewelry to mention them all. My best finds have been a 1887-S US Five Dollar gold coin and a diamond ring that was appraised at $1,000.00 back in 1998. I also found a 14K gold ring with three small diamonds.image

    Welcome. I want to see a pic of the Gold coin and know the story on how and where you found it. At least what state you found it in.
