Milk Spots and PCGS refunds
I recently sent coins in to PCGS to have Milk spots removed from the 20th anniversary silver reverse proof(2) and MS uncirculated coin(1). They offered me fair market value for the coins and I took it. How long does it generally take for them to send you your money?

<< <i>HAHA.....Actually they have had them since September. Just got offered around December 20th. I guess recently to me means like less then 6 months.... >>
I'd guess anytime soon for the check then. I sent mine in Sept as well and I know the check is being sent very soon. Actually they were ready to send it a week or two ago but I asked them to wait until this week. Araceli Diaz has been easy to communicate with about the status.
I was going to PM this but you don't have your PM turned on.

<< <i>Hmmmm. Well they must be sending it by pony express then. Thanks for the info. >>
your refund is probably sitting at the bottom of a mail sack somewhere
<< <i>These milk spots are absolutely ridiculous, can someone figure out a cure. Soon:<
Personally, I think the fault lies with the US Mint, but it seems to be exacerbated by location.
Here on the Gulf Coast, we have relatively high temps and high humidity, yet with over 800+ of these, most raw, some slabbed, I've yet to have a single milk spot(knock wood).
Seem like folks on the East and West Coasts have the most problems from what I read.
