Yup!
I'm in DIG MODE!
First outing of 2008 happens today, for better or for worse! Hope I'll get something worthy of a writeup and pics.

If I end up on Gascoigne Bluff, which is the likely site, silver is not terribly likely, but certainly possible.
I am convinced there is OLD silver there, but it is deep. The Bluff has a 10,000-year history, spanning prehistoric, colonial, plantation era, lumber mill era, and later.
We were speaking of your white, crusty musketball recently- I have found several on the Bluff.

Did I mention how nice it is to have the Zotmeister back where he belongs?

No silver, but one "keeper" and some other interesting doodads.
But you gotta wait for story and pics. Gonna take me a while. Gotta get the pix off the camera, edit them, write the story, take a naplet (hopefully), go in to work on graveyard shift at 11 PM, etc.
So it'll likely be the wee hours before you see the results of my diggin'.
