Canada 1932 50c on TT

This coin is on Teletrade tonight. Does it look cleaned to anyone here? or I'm I just seeing things?

This is why grading from an image is sooo tough. In my view, it fails the Coinkat original surfaces designation

I am curious as to the grade... I am going to guess and Ajaan can tell me how wrong I am.

EF40 'kat. TT has a group of these PCGS graded earlier 50c up tonight and they all looked cleaned to me from the images.

BTW, for those who aren't familiar with Canadian 50c, the 1932 is a key date.

Egads. That isn't even an EF by U.S. grading standards, let alone Canadian...

CCN Trends has the coin doubling in value from VF to EF $625 to $1250.

The challenge in grading George V is the ability to recognize a weak strike and wear. If in hand this coin has lustre in the fields, then an EF grade is likely appropriate. The problem grading from the image is the likelyhood that the coin was ehhanced in an effort to make it look better than it really is. Had it been left alone, it would have that rare original attractive look that would make this one quite desirable.
