"Well, I was so impressed with this thread, I had to sign up so I could reply. I was just curious honey...should I take this as instructions for your memorial? Umm...I do have plans for your coins. I'm going to play with the shinies! "

Can I assume only one of you has figured out who "penster" really is?
I cannot believe this thread is still at the top!!
Apologies to the OP, nothing personal.
This is just too morbid for this many replies.

Sorry, Sunday morning grumpies here, but this is just too much, people.
Better you should be concerned about what happens to your collection and your loved ones than decorating a dead piece of flesh.
There's my two Morgan's worth.
"Lenin is certainly right. There is no subtler or more severe means of overturning the existing basis of society(destroy capitalism) than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and it does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose." Welcome to the 'coin rumor threads' Penster. Ron will have to educate you as to the appreciation of posessing these round shiney rentables. One doesn't desecrate them as they are the past's legacy for future renters. Sell them if you don't want to keep them, but celebrate RNCHSN's life and love.
I've enjoyed Griv's, Broadstruck's, Mr Lustig's, and especially what's developed with Mrs & Mr Penster. (Welcome Penny.) Ron's a great fixture here on the boards, so thanks for sharing him.
Deadhorse, your post made me laugh the hardest Even on Sunday. Have a great day....

Oh, I appreciate the possession of these round shinies. I just like to yank his chain once in a while!
I had a friend in college who spent the summer digging up graves in a preCivil War cemetery. He worked for a contractor who was relocating the cemetery to make way for a new highway. Due to the age of the cemetery, not much was found in the way of remains. He said he did find some old coins which were mostly corroded large cents and some jewelry.

Pricey yes but I'll just melt my coins down to pay for and there should be enough to make some kind of cool jewelry out of me. I want to be a pendant on a long chain. Sort of like the long one here.

But I aint giving you the plot number or my address number if thats what your trying to find out. All I can say is bring your metal detector and start from the front gate.

Didn't you just give a response? Above or Below everyones must prepare.
As for the Morgans - if you really want them there, why not just polish up a few common ones and them placed on your eyes? Who's gonna know?
Usually threads like this are used for post count. I hope Yaha doesn't take it personally.

Many years ago I got a chuckle from reading the joke about the headstone which read "See, I told you I was sick."
Much to my surprise, when we buried Grandma, about 50 ft away was a headstone with that on it.
There are many great posts for a laugh here.
