This has happened to me before. The envelope was delivered to me with an entire side open and the roll of quarters gone. I sent the packaging back to the seller and they were able to file an insurance claim and get the money back.
Good luck.

You have got to be kidding!!!!
Worry is the interest you pay on a debt you may not owe.

Best of luck.....
<< <i>Out the power seller so we can avoid them and file a claim with PayPal if you paid that way. >>
Not just yet waiting for his reply.
Would the package weigh more than 1 oz with the coin?
Can you determine if the postage was for the weight of the packaging only or if there is weight 'missing', hence the coin was removed at some point?
<< <i>If you do not hear from seller in a day or 2, file an item dispute with ebay as not received. You can do the same with paypal if it goes that far, this could get sticky if there was delivery confirmation proving a package, empty or not, was delivered.
Best of luck..... >>
The coin was not that much only $9.50 plus S/H $4.00 Just surprise to get a empty envelope. Hope it was just a mistake .
<< <i>What type of shipping? 1st Class, Priority, etc.

There is a high ammount of impatience on this board. Most sellers don't live for a $9 coin. I would certainly wait a couple of weeks before filing anything. What possible good could it do to file so quickly? If I were away from my computer (doesn't happen but some people don't live online like we do) and came back and found something like that I'd be tempted to neg you and relist the coin. Give the seller a reasonable time to respond, especially since the only real evidence this happened on purpose is the prevailing distrust that exists on this board. Remember, 95% of the sellers are honest. We talk about the other 5% 99% of the time here.

I really don't want to make a big issue about a $9.00 coin . I just wanted to know if this has happen to anyone else. This is First for me.
