It means the cards have no qualifiers Ie: OC ST MK MC etc....it means the cards have been net graded at times too. example an otherwise mint 9 card that is OC gets a grade of 6 7 or 8.

    hope that helps.

    Good for you.

Right. I think what he is trying to understand is if a 7 is better than a 7OC or 7MC right?

Bass NQ is good..... sometimes. A card could be net graded. You have to look at each card and make a determination. Not all PSA 7's are the same . Many people submit cards and ask for no Qualifiers. Those cards will be net graded. Cards that are MC, MK and stained will always certaintly get that designations. I think it is for only OC cards that they will net grade. So an otherwise Mint card that would grade 9OC will be net graded to as low as a 5 in some cases and as high as an 8. The bottom line is that card is still OC only it does not carry the qualifier.

    Good for you.
  • It's good if you like cards with qualifiers I guess. Seriously though, depending on the severity of the qualifier, and if you don't mind it, you can pick up some cards for much cheaper than they would be with no Q. Rule of thumb is approx. 1-2 grades lower than NQ, although this too can depend on the severity of the Q. Eye appeal comes into play imo.

Well that would be unfair to a man who's had a couple. Plus I'd pick a better card than that (or maybe that's to throw us off).

he was just being contrary to what many sellers do. they title an auction PSA 8 and when you open it up all you see are cards with qualifiers and not one 8 is to be found.

your seller was just bucking the trend.
