Paying Teletrade using PayPal

Does paying with PayPal delay Teletrade from shipping the item?

For my last three transactions, I paid using Paypal (PayPal balance funds) but it seems like they delayed shipping for some reason. Anyone else notice this?

For some reason, they've just been processing slower than usual as of late.

I have never had a problem paying TT with paypal. Having said that, paypal has now changed my ability to directly send funds from my checking acct. to using an e-check, which takes several days to process/clear. Anyone else experiencing this or know what is up? Paypal initially wanted to send my payments directly to paypal credit. I dumped that option ASAP. They are looking for suckers to charge stuff at 23.25% APY according to a statemnetI received today. What B.S.

Check the expiration date on your back up credit card. Mine expired on the first of the month and did the same thing until I updated it.

I know at Heritage it adds delay and your online records never seem to show as paid.

For Teletrade they take all credit cards so I just do it that way.

I paid for a $1700 coin with PayPal, I mistakenly did not change it to a credit card so it came straight from the checking account. I called immediately and PayPal would not reverse it . The next day Teletrade tried but was unable to get PayPal to help either. Just wanted to share as PayPal has no option to set one's preferences to always pay from a credit card. I lost a 2% cash rebate by not using my credit card. Thats $34.00.

I will from now on just pay with a credit card. Why I involve a third party in my transaction still is not clear to me was not in my best interest. I must have been excited over winning

Oh Ya......And I saw no delay in shipping.....

I don't think it's the paypal ... I think they only ship on certain days of the week and they play games with the account info.. notice if you pay right after an auction it will say payment received items not yet shipped them a day or 2 later it will say payment received items shipped same day on every auction

So I won a coin on Weds (12/26). Paid that same evening using PayPal. I checked my TT account that evening, and it said 'Payment Received 12/26/2007'.

So finally today (12/28), it now says 'Your lots from auction 2467 were shipped on Monday, December 31, 2007' . I guess they mean they will ship on Monday.

Anyway, seems like the turnaround is quicker when I pay via Visa. Or maybe I'm ansy and on/or drugs?

Now you tell me

I won my first ever on Weds (only bid on 2 coins and lowballed them, imho, with bids of what I would do in 1-2 hands at the casino) and paid with paypal (should have just done visa anyway) using my visa.......maybe it will ship on Monday as well (they could have just put mine in with yours since they waited anyway

)

Did you get yours yet?

When I paid via paypal (day after auction...middle of holidays), it took 1 week to get the item sent (hasn't arrived yet).
When I paid via CC directly, item was shipped 2 days later (today).
