Do you own the "ingenuine" Lewis & Clark Pouch set?

...if so do you intend to keep it, sell it or apply for the refund? or Buy 'em up on eBay at a huge discount to the original issue price?

Some 2,000 of the ingenuine pouches crafted by the "Shawnee Nation United Remnant Band of Ohio" were included in the 2004 Lewis & Clark pouch sets issued by the Mint (see Link for information about the refund offer).

The original issue price was $120 per set. The average Coin & Pouch set is selling for around $75 on eBay.

They will probably become worth more as an error than sending it back. If I had them I would keep them.

  • I guess if you can find them on Ebay for under issue price then buy away since you can return them to the Mint and get full price.

Seen that notice a couple of weeks ago. I sold one a few months back. It was the prettiest one I had and had alot of watchers & "visits". It went for 120. My others around 80. I would hang on to them for a while if I had any.

I have 4 of the recalled ones, and I just assume leave them where they sit, in the closet.

I have a lot of 10 of the pouches/only that were rejected/but signed. Cute little bags.
