selling PSA authenticated Reggie White football

Just got my Reggie White football authenticated by PSA on 11-6 in NY. It's a white panel, with 1 Cor. 13 under the signature. The "C" in "Cor." is a little smudged. I want to sell it. I'm new here and got the ball probably approx. 10 years ago and won it at a raffle. I have pictures on my new digital camera, however, I can't figure out how to post them. I can send them through email. The PSA DNA cert is up against the case that it is in.

You should revise the description to match the opening bid you set, and if it were me I would probably have someone with feedback list it for you. No offense meant, but so many "0" feedback sellers are seen as scammers that it could cost you dollars.

    Good luck!

yeah def. tried to change the description but ebay only allows you to change certain things once you listed it. I put it up for 600 then lowered it to 400, sooo many mixed thoughts on that from Memorabilia stores in WI and where i live by Philly. Seems like things here are priced really high and matches the items sold on the internet. So im basically just going on what they sell this ball on the internet for.

and your right, my old man told me that they might think its a scam. He has 100 percent rating and lots of sells, so im gonna probably use his account.

thanks for the help, also, if you have suggestions on price i would appreciate it.

One of the problems with reggie autographs is he was friendly and signed everything that was put in front of him. There is still demand because of packers/hof collectors but the fact that he passed away young doesn't affect his auto so much. He signed A LOT of stuff. Sometimes looking on ebay I think he's still signing today.

I've seen reggie auto footballs that were not NFL balls go for $75-200 depending on coa and type of ball. Nice ones with psa have been higher. You're competing with the same ball, without the psa but also without the smudge, with no bids at $200. I've also seen them for sale at a high price in Wisconsin but I haven't seen them sell at the high prices.

I would cancel the auction and relist it under your dad's acct in a month or so. If you seriously want to sell it, start it at the lowest you can sell it for, get the bids, and let it go.

Good luck, I hope it goes well and you get what you need for it

yeah i wrote that guy, he said he never researched the value and wants to sell it for a struggling family, you can also see that the biblical verse 1 Cor 13 is written 1st Cor 13 which is very odd in my opinion.

I mean, I paid to post on Ebay, ill let it run then I will do as you said and put it up next month on my dad's account if i don't get a hit.

There is another guy selling one for like 160 something "buy it now", he states he lost his job...poor guy image it's not a white panel which increases its value
