Trading Cards & Memorabilia Forum
purchased in july for
$4060
7/31/07
sold in october for
$9500
10/30/07
WOW... that looks almost too good (not to mention too easy) to be true!
or... maybe the market for extremely low-end psa 8 1948 leaf babe ruth cards is especially strong at the moment...

The seller part looks fishy.
Sold by someone with "O" feedback. Why wouldn't the buyer of the first one just sell it under that name.
I'm guessing the seller is a scam.
Now it was bought by someone with only a "1" feedback. Seems fishy, too.

"Now it was bought by someone with only a "1" feedback. Seems fishy, too."
well, take a look a where that "1" feedback came from...
and, within five minutes of end of auction.
guess the buyer was willing to pay an overly inflated price, and
so
anxious to pay for it, he did so
immediately!
this one's a classic...!

Not to mention the buyer "just happened" to register with ebay and figured, "what the hell, lets by a 9k card"
IT IS ALWAYS CHEAPER TO NOT SELL ON EBAY

hey anthony-
with the assistance of vintagecardprices.com, it actually took
LESS
time to investigate than to post this thread!
