PL/DMPL Grading Question

Hello,

If I have a coin that is Obverse DMPL but normal reverse, will PCGS grade it most likely as

1. No designation
2. Obverse DMPL
3. Prooflike

Thanks,

Mike

Both sides have to be DMPL for the designation. I've never seen a slab that had "Obv. DMPL" on it.

If the Obv. is DMPL and the Rev. is PL, then it will get a regular PL desig.

    1. No designation

But NGC would probably give you a star.

Yep. Or you could send it to ANACS to receive the OBV. DMPL designation.
