2007 mint set, anybody notice that the denver Madison and

the Washington dollars don't appear to be Satin ? They look like business strikes.

    Likely, it's just your set(s) and some others.
    Most likely, the dollars are different periods of striking in their respective dies.

    I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment

    Ever since they went to the satin finish, I have seen several sets with one coin here or there struck from a die on which the satin finish has worn off. No big deal, IMHO.

    Those both look satin to me. The face and the arm on the reverse is where I see the satin detail. Of course they are not real strong.
