lincoln Question. Godless Penny

There is a raised ridge on this coin from the L in liberty to the end of trust. The "in God we trust" is seated in it (looks like it's crossed out). Any Idea what caused thiis.

    That's caused by die wear that, if I remember correctly, was somewhat unique to Lincolns in the 80's.

    If coppercoins were here, he could explain it very wellimage
