A Message From Gainesville Coins Inc.

Hello! Everyone at Gainesville Coins Inc, would like to thank everybody for their kind words here at Collectors Universe. We try our best to provide outstanding customer service coupled with an extensive inventory of both modern and Pre 1933 US coins at very competitive prices. If for any reason we do not respond to an email from one of our customers, we sincerely apologize and please do not take it as an example of how we run our company. We feel that whether you spend $10 or $10,000,000 you are just as important to us. We strongly value all of our customers and will do whatever we can to make you happy. With that said if you haven't given us a chance, please do. We feel you won't be disappointed. To all of our customers we thank you. You are the people that make Gainesville Coins Inc. great! If you have any questions please feel free to shoot us an email or give us a call.

Welcome aboard. I've noticed your banner up on top of the page, and have checked you out a few times.

I hope you post often here on the boards, most of us have lots to learn.

YN question: Isn't the OP what people around here call "spam"?

Looks to me like "howdy," from a brand new member. Once is much different than a continuous barrage.

  • Hey Everyone. In response to your comments:

    1. Once we launch the new website (hopefully very soon!) our webpage should fit correctly on everyones screen
    2. Yes the Gators lost, again. They are still a young team, and should hopefully learn from their mistakes. If not, maybe season ticket prices will come down!
    3. We will try and get on the boards as much as possible and answer any questions. Please also feel free to email or call us anytime. I basically live at the office, and am thinking about getting a nice comfy cot for the break room.

    Thanks again to everyone!

Nah, first post is always a freebie and it's nice to have someone on board that also sponsors the site. Good call but let's just have a big WELCOME to Gainsville Coins!

Gainesville, when you come back online, turn your PMs on.

Will your website post buy and sell prices on modern products, such as 06 Plat 4 coin sets, 07 "W" sets and fractionals, Jefferson Spouse gold, etc?

Along the lines of claychaser's question, do you handle regular issue Plats?

Not when you buy advertising banner space.

  • Hey Everyone. Thanks again for all your messages! In answer to some of the questions:

    1. We will be posting sell prices right away on Moderns. With regards to buys, we will be posting these just not right away. The reason being is that with the large number or Modern coins we carry, we have to find the efficient way to keep our buy/sells up with the market. We will be posting buy/sells just give us a little time to find the correct way to do it.
    2. We currently don't do much with regular issue plats. but I will bring it up with the guys for the future.
    3. Ok, yes we got beat by Georgia. All I know is that cute little bulldog is gonna end up as GATOR BAIT next year!

    Thanks again!

Welcome and since others have offered suggestions I have one for you as well.....

Don't just list "Silver Commems" by date and no picture. It would help to know "which" commem is for sale. image

  • Repeat customer here, always had great service, and your prices are some of the best I've seen. Keep adding to the classic coins, also make sure you have a picture for "every" classic coin in your inventory. It's a hassle to request a purchase and then wait a couple of days for a picture to be sent, before the final decision to purchase can be made.
  • Hey Everyone. Thanks for all the comments and suggestions. To answer some of the comments:

    1. We will fix the descriptions of the silver commems.
    2. We try and photo as many of the coins as we can. With the inventory changing so rapidly it is very difficult to keep up with it. I will however try to push the guys to photo more of the coins if possible.

Thanks again to everyone and Happy Halloween!
