1864 Two Cent Piece eBay Cherrypick- Update- Good and bad news

I just got this BIN on eBay...guess the variety! And, venture a grade if you like...I can't wait to see it in-hand!

UPDATE:

Ah the perils of buying uncertified on eBay...I knew I had problems when I opened the package- I didn't like the color, but the variety was definitely there, and it was a cherrypick, so I decided to keep it anyway. I decided to take it over to ANACS for grading, and here's what I got- I'm happy with the grade, but I think they were a little too picky on the 'Corrosion' designation:

    Sweet find. Your piece has been clashed with an Indian Head cent.

    I sold my 2 Cent set a few years ago. I kept a couple of dupes because I've always liked the series.

    I'll guess FS 001.8, Leone 16B. I'll grade XF45. Nice find, looks just like the pic in Cherrypickers Guide.

    For those who said it's FS-001.8 (Leone 16B) you are correct! The reverse die has a mule clash (similar to the ones on the 1857 FE Cents) with the obverse die of an Indian cent. The angled line to the right of the 2 is the Indian's nose. I'll try to post some pics of it when it arrives...

    That's pretty cool. I've only seen one other one before so I assume these are pretty rare. What is the premium for these varieties over typical 1864 LM 2 cent pieces?

    Nice pick, Cmerlo1! This is one of the six inter-denominational die clashes in the U. S. Federal series. Very rare, partly because it is impossible to see in lower grades. There are collectors trying to assemble the six-piece set of inter-denominational die clashes.

    An authorized PCGS dealer, and a contributor to the Red Book.

    I'm not aware of any that have sold...I did email Frank Leone about it- we'll see what he has to say. Didn't know there were 6 total. I know 5 of them:

    1857 FE cent w/seated haf
    1857 FE cent w/seated quarter
    1857 FE cent w/$20 Liberty
    1857 seated quarter w/FE cent
    1864 2-cent w/IHC

    What's the sixth?

    Sixth one is the 1870 Shield nickel with a die clash on its obverse, from the obverse of an Indian head cent. Definitely the least known of the six, and possibly the rarest.

    An authorized PCGS dealer, and a contributor to the Red Book.

    I think they got you for the gunk in the letters of "CENTS" on the reverse. It almost looks like PVC to me, though green stuff on copper doesn't automatically mean PVC. On a lower grade coin they might have let it slide, but on an AU58 I wouldn't expect to see that degree of corrosion so I can understand them pointing it out on the holder.
