Did anyone see this Scarface on EBAY last night???
And, I thought i may have had a chance of sniping this one at $145 bucks!!! Boy, was I wrong.
I cannot tell exactly what stage this Scarface was based on the pictures, but would u pay/gamble $1527 bucks on this coin?
Vam experts, what do you say the die progression is on this one? I guesstimated 1B-H4 (stage 4) to 1B-H5 (stage 5)
Enjoy your day...Len

It's a die break running from the back of her nose across her cheeck down to her hair.
Too many positive BST transactions with too many members to list.
Keeper of the VAM Catalog • Professional Coin Imaging • Prime Number Set • World Coins in Early America • British Trade Dollars • Variety Attribution
Which makes me ask the question, why would anyone pay that kind of money, without seeing it in hand?
It's only an EDS, if you ask me....but who knows what is under that toning???? Too much of a gamble for me, hence my pathetic $145 bid!!!

If it were a full blown Scarface, I think we'd all see it, even with all the toning.
I think it may be worth $200 - $300 bucks max

More advanced Scarfaces have the crack actually going through the face. On this specimen, it is hard to see through the face, because it may not have gotten that far.
