My first PCGS submission results are in

and I believe this might be called beginner's luck. There are also some cross overs in but this is the one I most hoped for.

I'll give you 5 bucks to send in my Jefferson Proof! With luck like that, I can't lose.

Getting all my '44 Mint set in PCGS holders, hopefully. It does include a very nice 44-S FB Merc in a PCI holder and I'll let you know how it does.
You wouldn't believe how long it took to get him to sit still for this.
One of the trends I have seen in regards to modern coinage is that there are certain coins that receive the greatest attention to detail and it usually is when there is a lot of concern over the popularity and of the high cost of the coin. The spouse comms and the platinum eagles are definitely in that category. This is certainly NOT because the Mint wants to make sure you get the best but rather to get you to buy them and NOT return them. I am actually surprised at how many coins are returned each year which is good because several of my Mint orders were fulfilled from returns.
Sometimes old dogs learn new tricks so I see an up tick in quality between the Adams and Jefferson runs both in the Pres and FL coins so tons of MS67s, MS70s & PR70s. I tend to think the Jeff Lib $10 obverse will be the most attractive of the series as I don't think they will make any of the real FLs look that sexy. The Mint even threw in a little cleavage.
Congrats and good luck on the FLIP
