NN - with the Mint Stats

Mint Stats

2007 W Unc Plat = 12,817 Coins

2006 W Unc Plat = 11,865 Coins

Bottom line? When 2007 W Unc Sales resume (and they will), the 2006 W Unc series remains the low mintage King.

"Jefferson first day covers are almost sold out."

Maybe a sleeper here. Less than 3200 sets left.

I see the Little Rock medal sets are selling. That is good. Only 500 left!

Bash modern stuff all you want, but someone is buying.

It does look like the silver proof sets are pretty low, as well.
  • The Mint may resume sales, but as is currently stands, going by your 2006-W mintage figures only the 2007-W 1/10 coin mintage is higher than the 2006-W. The remaining 2007-W APE coin denominations are lower than your reported 2006-W figures:

    COINB0Y's reported 2006-W mintage.

    $100 - 3,068
    $50 - 2,577
    $25 - 2,676
    $10 - 3,544

Numismatic News 2007-W 11-01 sales figures:

    $100 - 3,054
    $50 - 2,482
    $25 - 2,597
    $10 - 4,684

  • "COINB0Y's reported 2006-W mintage"

These are simply the 2006 W Unc Sales numbers given to ericj96 from Mike White of the US Mint.

IMHO, these are equal to the 2007 W Unc Sales numbers given to NN from Mike White of the US Mint.
  • Once the Mint annual report comes out in a month or so, we will have the final audited figures for the 2006-W. I also think the Mint is waiting to announce sales of the 10th anniversay platinum sets and may announce what they plan for the burnished 'W' platinum at that time.
