2007 Jefferson full steps question

Is this a common designation for the P&D mints?

2006 was the start of the new steps EZ to get. This year the start was very EZ now it's geting harder to find them. I got some rolls today from the bank and a lot of them look like this now.

Thanks Type2 I just got my mint sets in the mail today and they look like this....
I wasn't sure if this is an average strike and grade. I haven't opened the other set yet. What do you think of them?

Matter of fact, all of them look very nice. I heard that many are coming from the mint looking like pocket change

What you are are the SF (Satiin Finish) ones which should have better strikes, imho.
Getting true business strikes (released for commerce) examples are harder, i think.

I knew that they were satin, but was unaware that they may have better strikes.
It does make sense.

Mint sets are generally subjected to a lot less issues that may causes problems (bagging, excess handling, rolling, etc). Not sure if the mint set dies are used for less strikes, though I would tend to think they are, so they aren't as readily "mushy".

Over the years, a higher average of better coins have come from mint sets, I think, due to reasons above.

What's really hard to find are 2004 and 2005 full steps!

WoW, The satin finish are not so nice this year.This is a 2006 Satin finish.

They are a little nicer. it looks like the 2007 will be a tough one to get high grades in both satin / MS.
