What's the worst day & time to end an Ebay auction?

I say it has to be Monday evening. No money from the weekend. First day of work. Monday Night football. What do you think?

    Monday evening around 10PM is good for me. I've played with Sat, Sun, and Monday evening endtimes. Someone suggested Saturday morning and I'd like to try that sometime to see if there's any difference. My rationale is that people are generally out on the weekends, but Monday evening most people are home and most likely to be surfing on eBay. It only my opinion, but it just seems that I do better when the auction ends on Monday evening.

    Still if you have a great item up for auction with 25 watchers, it'll sell well no matter what the endtime is.

    The worst time to end an auction is when the right two bidders are not around.

    I ended mine once on Halloween, not knowing it at the time of listing them. Boy, did I get killed with low bids.

    But during 'normal' times, I would say the worse time to end an auction is early in the day and on the weekend.

    I'll add that I think the best time to end an auction is either Tuesday or Wednesday evening , around 10pm EST.

    I typically (when I sell) run 10 day auctions ending on Sunday evening... the reason... it spends 2 weekends (where people are lounging around) on EBay, gathering watchers, then ends early Sun evening (where its spent a 2nd entire weekend) where people can fight over it.

    I have had great success with this approach, and wont change it.

    If it's a hot, high demand coin from a reputable seller, no. It doesn't matter when it ends, it won't be a bargain.

    Is there an extra charge for running a ten day auction?

    Seems like one time I was going through the process of listing some stuff and I clicked on the 10 day auction option and there was an extra charge. I could be mistaken.

    Statistics show that more people are home on Sunday night than any other evening of the week, that is generally a good time to
    end an auction. (an obvious exception would be Super Bowl Sunday or other major holidays that happened to fall on a Sunday).

    I'm often shopping for me on Christmas Eve, especially when it becomes apparent that my faux protestations of not needing anything are being taken seriously, as a look under the tree suggestsimage

    Unless you are posting some really hot items it's strictly my opinion that the absolute worst time is when everyone else is. Too much going on at the same time. image

    10 days is a long time for something to look unappealing, unless it is a one of a kind or close to it. ( i usually avoid 10 dayers)
    also a .10¢ charge to schedule. i will do that often..pick your closing time and check to see what else is out there closing when yours does.

    I once was dumb enough to end a whole bunch of auction during the superbowl.
