A huge thank-you from ilikecoins.com

I just wanted to thank everyone who took time from their busy days to help with the testing of ilikecoins.com, and for all of the feedback (good and bad) that was left. Some of the changes that came out of this are:
-SSL encryption for login and register screens
-A privacy policy in the user agreement
-Fixes to the bidding engine math
-Fixes to the listing engine
-Fixes to new member registration (thanks to a VERY patient Ricko!)
-Changes to the appearence of the site, including layout and color scheme (we're still working on this)
-A virtual bourse for fixed-price sales (in development- we built the pages yesterday and today and set up the database- hope to have it coded tomorrow)
-A full test of the Resolution Committee feature, in which the committee members voted to shut down an auction with questionable coins in it.
So, what's next? We are waiting for our LLC and Federal Tax # to come back from LegalZoom. I submitted an ad to Coin World, and as soon as the tax # arrives, we can get it placed. We also have an ad planned for Numismatic News about the same time. We will offer everyone here a pre-listing period to list the coins they want to sell, so that when we go live (we anticipate Oct. 1st) we will have coins available to bidders and buyers. As promised, if you registered before we go live, auctions you've listed ending in the frirst month from our live date will be completely free.
Again, I can't thank my firends here on the forum enough. Leaving a good job to start your own business is a scary thing, and your well wishes have definitely helped with that.
There are still a couple of the 'giveaway' auctions running...once they are all over, I will notify the winners and ship the prizes out...if you still want to try for a win, now's your chance!
In the meantime, you can continue to play with the site...anything you list or bid on will be for testing purposes only...I'll let everyone know when we're about to open the pre-listing period. In case you missed it, the test site address is: www.ilikecoins.com/home.aspx
Have a great week!
