how many of you...

...purchased some form of 86 topps baseball products since the ryan psa 10 surfaced.

i had a 6-box and 3-box rack case sitting back and picked up another 3-box for a rainy day.

Thanks,

David (LD_Ferg)

  • By pure coincidence, I decided to start on this set at the beginning of september and bought 23 rack boxes. 19 of came from one seller that never came through (I guess because of the ryan).

  • Yes, still working the set. I did get some really strong cards. They look really cool when you weed out the rough cuts.

  • The time to buy would have been before this card was listed

i don't see the prices shooting thru the roof. seems like $20 for a rack box is a decent deal.

    Thanks,

  • Dont need any here
I've been shoveling them into my woodstove over the winter for 7 years now...
  • A few summers back I bought a ton of '86 rack boxes from my local card shop. Ten bucks a box.

But the best cards I pulled came from a sealed wax box I bought off eBay for five or six bucks plus shipping.

I did last week..... I had another order already in the works at BBCE, so I added a 86 wax box to the order... What the heck, it was only $13.. image

Why do I have a feeling there's going to be a TON of '86 product on eBay in the next coming months.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
  • LOL.

$50 + $9 shipping BBCE. and it shipped in 3 days. booyeah!

The cards move around a bit more in the racks. maybe wax would yield better cards>?

Im gonna have lots of dupes! ill make some sets (pack fresh!)

I would be interested in any red sox you dont want. I could even trade for you favorite team image
  • actually im holding all My sox cards hostage...especially the Al Nippers!
Ironically a lot of the common sox cards are miscut, dinged etc. (1986 must have been a bad year for some reason...hmmmm)
