Selling cleaned coins

To make the most profit selling cleaned or detailed coins on Ebay should you sell raw and say the coin has been cleaned or spend the bucks at ANACS and then sell them slabbed with the problem listed?

    i would say it depends on the value of the coin.
    obviously slabbing a 25 dollar coin is not worth it.

    anything over 100, i would.

    shoot I forgot to add that the coins are all key dates, mostly nickels.

    I'd not waste any money on grading. Great pics, honest description and let the buyers determine the value.

    Unless they are a coin that needs authentication then I wouldn't slab it. Early copper at auction is often put in ANACS slabs listing problems like a laundry list. The new owner promply cracks it out and discards the label. --Jerry

    What the previous respondent said. Unless they are "key" enough dates that they require authentication, just sell them raw.
