Cameo Cherrypicks of the day. Plus an early gold $5.00.

Have not been to a B&M for a long time.
On a whim I stopped by a B&M shop today, looked at the drab offerings in the display cases and asked if I could look at any pre 1971 proof and SMS sets. The owner said sure and handed me multiple sets from 57-70. The SMS sets were all duds. The 68-70 sets were duds.
The 57-64 sets yielded multiple cameo cherries. They include a 1963 dime and cent that could both get a DCAM designation, a 1963 CAM nickel; a 1957 CAM cent; and best of all a 1959 CAM half. The other coins in the sets are very nice also.
Not bad for a whim and a few dollars out of my pocket.
BTW the owner was doing an inventory on some gold coins. He showed me an 1834 $5.00 gold piece. A beautiful coin. Raw and in high grade circulated condition (EF or better) with nice eye appeal. I thought about picking up the coin, but declined cuz I do not know gold very well. One day I will learn about it.

Interesting article in the lastest issue of the Rare Coin Market report about those little gold coins. Long story short. PCGS sees more of them that are counterfiet than any other coins.
Congratulations on all the pickups!
