1982 Large Date DDO & DDR??

Ok, I think I found my first DDO and DDR, both on the same coin!! Either that or it was just a bad strike because everything is really soft on it, both sides. So can you experts set me straight on the type of error if it is not Doubled?? That is if it is even an error. Also I'm practicing my grading, which is really tough by the way, and I've guessed at AU-58. Am I ball park or way off??

Thanks!!

There is a DDO on at least one of the 1982 Lincolns, but of the top of my head, I can't remember which ones. Your coin looks like it was struck from a badly worn or overpolished die...

Can't tell much from the pics.

That coin is a large date. The known 82-P large date DDOs are on copper planchets. (of course there could be one on zinc but none are known)
If the coin is bumpy (texture) like it looks in the pics it's probably a zinc not a copper. If that's the case it's probably strike related.

Of the 2 known DDO varieties for 82-P large date copper one shows on the motto and the other shows on liberty.

    Adding...

The coin is better than AU58, looks like an unc (63-64?) with a mushy strike.

Looks like a machine double. Is this a copper or zink?

Not machine doubling, not a doubled die. Your coin actually suffers from having been struck with dies that were way beyond normal shelf life. They had struck too many coins, and were badly deteriorated, which unfortunately is common in certain dates, and 1982 is one of those dates. Others include (but are not limited to) 1953, 1955, 1978, and 1981.
