The real Pike's Peak Gold

I must be bored.
The artist who made the Pike's Peak Gold coin obviously never really saw Pike's Peak. He must have been eating a pile of mashed potatoes when he drew the design.
This is my favorite coin because it's so quirky and rare. I think the crude artwork just makes it more unique. The idea of putting a mountain on a coin is great. It just needs to be executed better.

BTW, if you do get to go to Pikes Peak, go to Challenge Unlimted in Colorado Springs. They have bike tours down Pikes Peak. Yes, you can ride a bike down Pikes Peak. It was a hell of a of a ride!
