Just purchased an 1812/1 bustie from JJ Teaparty

When I saw them list this coin with just a description I inquired about getting some pics of it. Well after waiting all weekend they finally posted some pics of it and I really liked the look so I went ahead and purchased it. It is graded by PCGS if you want to guess the grade. I will definitely get some pics of my own once I have it in hand. So what do you think of it?

This one fits right into your collection. My guess is PCGS gave it F-15.

After this one arrives I will be down to 19, Mary.

The coin is grade F-15 for those of you that were guessing. This one was $257 but I had been looking for a 1812/1 for a while with little sucess. I had purchased one from Dick Osburn but returned it because I did not care for the look it had. From the pics this one definitely looks to be a keeper.

That is a pretty nice looking Overdate!
Many of the O-102's come poorly struck on the obverse.
PCGS probably graded it a Fine 15 from just the Obverse details.
But I see a nicer coin than that !
Hidden luster in the protected areas, Reverse looks ChVF.
And probably the "a" model from the remaining segments.
Overall a pretty nice rip!

Personally, I think they undergraded it a bit, but I don't really think that matters much. What does matter is that it has great eye appeal! Nice pickup...
