Cheap 89-CC

I was gonna bid, but forgot. I didn't win it. Any 89-CC for under $200 is cheap, but that one looks more like a $300 coin.

    Pass on this one.
    I'd rather spend $500 on one of these in a higher grade and slabbed.

    I think you did a little better on the 93-CC.
    Always looking for attractive rim toned Morgan and Peace dollars in PCGS or (older) ANA/ANACS holders!

  • I vote too ugly for $191. Not many collectors would want that coin in their set. It is only for those building a set on the tightest of budgets. I shudder to think what some of the other Morgans in that set might look like.

    I have bought problem coins before, but that one is too ugly at that price.

    This one sold about a year ago at Heritage for $402 plus shipping. If the below coin is worth $400, in my mind the one linked is worth maybe $100 coin considering all the problems.

    It's all right with ebay to call it Very Good, since they didn't use a number.

    But if you called it AG-3, ebay will cancel your account for violating "trust and safety" rules!
