The Rejects... The Not So Lucky... The "Others" from my latest submission... (Lot's of Tru

So I recently sent in a while bunch of coins for grading... for my type set... very pleased with most of the results... but there were some soldiers that didn't make it
Got a lot to learn on the early stuff... they look quite nice in hand... and I really can't see the "cleaning" meaning hairlines, scrubbing, etc... maybe dipping... but I did not think a reject from dipping would get the "cleaned" BB label... but still learning! thought I would share. (please don't cringe too much)
BTW - most of these look a touch darker than the photos suggest.

I agree with you on the copper. Looking in particular at the reverses of the dime and half, the very light fields with very dark "shadows" of dirt or tone around the devices and letters are a good indication of a cleaning.
Just because PCGS didn't like them, they're still nice coins. I'd take your Oregon half over 90% of the bright white stuff out there in holders.

I like the Half Cent also.
