Same reverse Die Crack? (IHC's w/ pics)

I purchased a fairly worn 1888 Indian Head Cent awhile back because the date looked *funny*... I then found out that it was a repunched date (thanks to Rick Snow & his gracious assistance!!), he also pointed out that the "marker" was a reverse die crack on the left-hand side of the reverse. I pulled up three examples in the Heritage archives (AU58 & MS62, I think) which showed better detail (mine showed the die crack, but pretty worn).
The other day I came across an 1887 IHC with a reverse die crack in the same/similar area & picked it up to compare. Although the die crack is not as long on the 1887 (it doesn't come down across the last two leaves) as it is on the 1888, I am thinking that maybe if it was the same reverse die used in both years, then the crack may have "grown" during its extended use?
Posted below are the reverse of my two coins (1887 & 1888) and then the reverse of the three 1888's that I found at Heritage. Same die, or not? Opinions...?
My 1887 (with reverse die cracks)

My 1888 S-2 (well worn, with die crack visible on left wreath)

Three Heritage pics (all 1888 S-2 reverses):

EDITED FOR PHOTO CLARIFICATION.

<< <i>I need to get Rick's books.
Me too.... I want them ALL.... but I'm gonna have to "start small" (argh)
<< <i>AskRaq corrected me, the top one is a 1888 S2 as well. >>
I have edited the original post so that the pictures are now better clarified & labeled. (the 2nd reverse is the well-circulated 1888 S-2)
