Actually, that is not the case. Sigline links have always been acceptable. Initiating a thread here, showing a coin, and offering it for sale is not considered acceptable. As always, common sense and common courtesy should prevail. It is not courteous for someone to monopolize the BST for himself, while bumping other people out of the way. Since this impolite behavior is common on the bourse, I am not surprised that we see it frequently here. >>

After this issue was discussed here a while ago, several members removed the link from their Sigline so it is not acceptable to all. Yes you have a great point on common sense and common courtesy that is why I original suggested a "friendly" PM first and then send a PM to one of the Moderators if the first one didn't work. But to start this thread in order to "rub" someone's nose in it sounds like a wantabe cop
If an eBay link is in smoeone's sig line I don't really care. If they violate the BS&T rules I really don't worry about that as there are enough others here who do it for me. Sometimes in casual conversation I will mention the rules to newbies to keep the forum cops off their back. I don't go looking for violators. Things are kept in check well enuf as is so I don't see it as a serious problem.
